Philosophy
Actively engage students in order to effectively convey geologic concepts, provide diverse geologic examples, and foster a learning environment.
Create interactive learning experiences such as in-class small group activities, field activities, and student led teaching exercises.
Effectively teach students and have them take away Earth Science problem-solving capabilities, strengthen their ability to work as a team member on group projects and lab-oriented activities, and recognize how geology is present in their lives.
Inspire learners to further their geologic education.
